Terms & Conditions

Timeline:

This agreement covers all design and marketing services provided by Your Badass Designer for the 2026 calendar year. A new agreement will be issued at the start of each year, beginning with the first project of that year.

Working Hours:

I work and check my emails throughout the day. Typically, I respond within 2 hours during the weekday.

During the weekend, I try and spend time with my kiddos and don't typically send proofs during this time. I'm less responsive Saturday & Sunday via email and text as well.

Scope of Work:

I'm here to make your project stand out!

Need images? I source exclusively from AdobeStock.com. If you prefer a photo from another company, you'll have to license it and send it over via email to hello@yourbadassdesigner.comThey'll be licensed under me. If you want them for other uses (besides the specific project we create together), I can shoot over a link so you can license them for your business! :) By using the designs I create, you agree to not use photo assets or fonts licensed to Your Badass Designer.

Final Deliverable:

You'll receive print-ready PDF files as your final deliverable, only.

If you want the editable source file (Adobe Illustrator), there's an additional fee. The fee is $149 per design.

Payment Plan:

Big Projects ($1,999+):

50% upfront to get the project started

Final 50% before I hand over any of the final print ready PDF files or within 3 weeks of project start date whichever comes first

Smaller Projects ($1,999 & under):

Payment due before the project can begin

Printing:

Payment due before files are sent to print

Late with a payment? I'm pretty understanding, so just communicate and I'm sure we can work it out :)

Revisions:

Please send all revisions over within 4 business days of receiving the proof so I can get your designs to you as quickly as possible! :) If you cannot accommodate that time frame, please just let me know.

You have 3 rounds of revisions included. Any additional revisions beyond the three included will $49 per additional revision round, due prior to additional proofs being sent. All changes or requests should be written down and sent over via email, text or the proof sheets vs over the phone to ensure nothing is missed.

Revisions are not transferable or held for future use. Once a project is approved, any remaining revisions are forfeited, as they are no longer required. All final approved proofs must be approved via the proof sheet with e-signature.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide feedback on time
Proofreading for typos/errorsSend all changes in a clear, concise bullet list
All changes should be made in the 3 revision rounds so please be sure to be concise in your changes and send them all in one proof sheet vs multiple emails over the course of a few days. Things get lost in translation this way.

If You Go Silent:

If I don't hear from you within 10 business days, then need something urgently, like next day? I can't guarantee I will be able to accommodate as current projects get priority. Communication is key here to respect both our time! :)

If you disappear with no communication for more than 30 days, the project is archived in my system and considered complete. All payments made are forfeited and any balance payments are due immediately. Final print ready pdf files will be sent after balances are paid.

Printing:

Once your design is approved, I can send to print if needed! Print quotes are good for 30 days. Print cost is due prior to your files being sent off to print. Once files are sent to the printer there are NO cancellations as my printer starts immediately.

If a typo or error is discovered on printed materials after you have approved the proof (whether by proof sheet, email, text, or other written confirmation), you agree to cover all reprint costs. Once a proof is approved, Your Badass Designer is not liable for any such errors.

If you choose to use a printer other than Your Badass Designer, you agree that Your Badass Designer will not be held responsible for any print costs, errors, or reprint fees incurred.

Shipping:

Standard shipping is included in your print price (if you requested one). If you need it faster, there are additional shipping fees, but I should be able to make it happen!

Ownership:

You get the rights to the approved final deliverable in a print ready PDF format, not the editable source files. If you want the source files, see above for pricing information. Any preliminary artwork is owned by Your Badass Designer.

All images and fonts used in the designs are licensed assets and are not transferred to the client. Ownership or independent licensing of these assets must be obtained directly by the client if required. Upon request, links to the assets may be provided. If not licensed separately, all assets remain licensed under Your Badass Designer.

Termination:

Either party can end the job if it's not going as well as we'd like. However, all payments made are non refundable. If the job hasn't been paid in full, any payment to cover design costs already completed will be due immediately. If payments are not made in full, print ready pdf files will not be sent and Your Badass Designer retains ownership.

Reprint and Redesign:

We strive for perfection, but if there are any errors in the printed materials or designs, the client will be responsible for the reprint costs and any design fees for necessary edits. To ensure everything meets your expectations, please review and approve the final proof sheet. This step helps us both ensure accuracy and satisfaction.

Extra Stuff:

If any part of this deal falls through, the rest of the agreement still stands. Ignoring a part of this contract doesn’t mean it’s not valid. If something wild happens, like a meteor strike, neither of us is to blame. We're under with Michigan law.
